Over the last few days, I have had two separate Republicans who stated that, while they admit that Trump was a “flawed” President, that they support him because after all he was the President. By extension, the implication was that I should be supporting that POS as well. This despite their admitting that he is a terrible person.
I would just have dismissed this and not even posted anything except for the fact that since the conversations I began to think. I wonder what these people were doing and saying when the Republican Party and the Congressional leadership were acting like petty, spoiled little brats during that last two years of the Obama administration. Here was a decent man, a decent leader and they did not support him. I will not wax, poetically or otherwise, as to why. Suffice to say, they do not have any history of supporting the President or the Presidency, even with a decent person. Why do they have the nerve to expect me to support this POS because he is a damned-ass Republican. Not in this lifetime.
