When I write this it is October 2, 2020. I want to make that clear in case future events impact what I say
Trump went into the hospital today as a “precaution” after testing positive for Coronavirus. Later in the day it came out that he was experiencing trouble breathing and had other symptoms, so I expect precaution is an understatement. Also it has come out that they are giving him experimental drugs and treatment already. This points to a situation that seems to indicate that it may be much more serious than first thought.
Let me say to the people that think that this is a sham: while I wouldn’t put it past the POS to fake something like this, it really doesn’t seem to serve any purpose. I cannot see this helping him in the polls in any way and that would be his only reason to lie.
In fact, it shows to the world, if they needed any more proof, just how STUPID his caviler attitude to Covid-19 has been. It shows just how STUPID it was not to wear a mask and require others to wear a mask around him, setting an example that would save lives. It shows just how STUPID he was to attend rallies and fundraisers without taking common sense precautions. It shows just how STUPID he is
I must admit that my first thought was that he and his wife are getting just exactly what they deserve, just exactly what they asked for. I must admit that was not too charitably in my initial thoughts. But that was an initial thought that I overcame. I do not wish this kind of problem on anyone; even someone who’s very actions, and inactions, may have contributed to his illness. I wish him full recovery with minor symptoms, total defeat in the polls, and incarceration to follow.
