In theory, I understand the attraction of Term Limits for politicians. After all, it gets rid of entrenched politicians and bring in new blood. My only issue has been that Term Limits have always been available by voting the bastards out. But I have also seen the problem. That would require actual active participation in the selection process.
But I have had another thought: while it is nice to entertain the idea of getting rid of the old guard, think about the following: if the current laws are so messed up, just think what will happen if they are being developed and passed by what are essentially amateurs.
