Surprise

Although I do not want this to be solely a place for political ranting, it seems at times it has become just that.

In part it is because of my surprise with the situation that we are in at the moment.  What Donald Trump is is not a surprise.  At least not to me or to people I was in contact with on Facebook or other forms of communication.  When he opened his mouth he started telling everyone exactly what he was going to do.

I started to warn people what I thought they were missing.  I have been doing so ever since.

Then it occurred to me.  At first I was surprised although I should not have been.  The surprise: A whole lot of people who supported Donald Trump, a whole lot of people who continue to support Donald Trump, know exactly what kind of person he is – and – they approve.

The surprise is the vast number of really cruel, vicious, selfish people that there are in America.

I am sincerely hopeful that they are not in the majority –  they were not in the last election, they were just in the majority in select places.  I am sincerely hopeful the lazy, self-centered individuals who did not vote last time take the small effort to get rid of this POS next time.  My additional hope is that we can put up someone who is as good as Hillary Clinton next time – she was qualified whether you liked her or not.  We do not need an amateur who has his/her personal agenda to make things equally bad just to change from this POS for another POS.
