The question is: Are package delivery people former military personnel trained in stealth operations – or – are they aspiring to that career and using this as their training ground?
I ask this because they seem to be able to sneak up on an occupied home without anyone noticing, drop a package, and disappear with no one the wiser. The really fun thing is when they place the package directly beneath the doorbell (let alone beside the front door). This is especially an issue when it is raining. I know that they risk melting – imagine what it is doing to the product they are supposed to be delivering.
Now I know that it takes an effort, physical and mental, to ring the bell or knock on the door but with employee orientation you would think this would be something that would be covered. Maybe not, but I know how I would vote.
With package piracy at an all-time high, it would be a darn shame if thefts were perpetrated on homes that were occupied and just not notified of the delivery.
It cannot be a lack of courtesy on their part as they seem friendly enough when encountered (caught in the act) so I am assuming that it is either old habits or training for their future gig.
BTW: if the military is not recruiting from package delivery people, give it a thought.
Just wanna comment that you have a very nice website , I like the design and style it actually stands out.
