It seems to be the height of fashion for men to have a short beard now. Maybe three days to a week of beard growth. It is not an accident as everywhere you look people are sporting this “fashion” and it has been ubiquitous for several years now.
What finally occurred to me however is that I was fashionable years and years ago when I was working in the lumber mill when I generally shaved only on the weekends when I went out. Problem was; people just called me scruffy.
