She doesn’t get it – do you?

Watching #TheStory on #KGW8News: There is a woman in Oregon who is suing the DHS because they rejected her application to be a foster parent. And this is a person who not only wants to foster but adopt two children to add to her brood of five natural children.

At the crux of the lawsuit is that when applying for the foster parent program, she refused to agree to and accept the Oregon State requirement for her to both accept and support the non-traditional gender issues for her foster children, such as various LBGTQ+ identification issues as well as possible hormones therapy (which she described as child abuse).

Hey, I get it. Her version of Christianity as taught to her by her Pastor/Minister, Parish/Church, Religious Doctrine Leadership has told her that anything except traditional make/female heterosexual relationships and feelings are wrong. The fact that science, another thing given to Mankind by God and NOT adulterated by Man’s prejudices, tells them they are wrong does not seem to be important.

There is a lot of support for this “fine, upstanding, Christian” Woman. Yet, we are still living through the travesty of Caucasians raising and trying to “de-Indian” indigenous peoples to wipe out their race and identity.

Would these supporters be so adamant if the women was a Wiccan, a Druid, heck even a Muslim or Hindu? I flipping doubt it.

The reason the State of Oregon has these rules are two-fold: 1) do NOT allow foster parents the ability (legally) to indoctrinate the foster children, and 2) it is about the foster child and NOT the foster parent, period.

If that potential foster mother does not put the child before her religious beliefs, thank God (no pun intended) Oregon DHS is at least trying to!
