Public Nursing

I have absolutely nothing against women nursing in public.  I think it is about time we quit being so damned anal about it and let such a natural event be accepted as a normal course of life.

I think that businesses and public venues that try to restrict women from nursing their children to be totally off-base and should re-examine their policies.

Having said that, to the nursing mothers: how about a little courtesy?  It is not shame, it is not modesty, it is not anything except courtesy to throw a diaper or a blanket over your shoulder when nursing.  My aunt did this sixty years ago.

Is that too much to ask?  If you do get the difference, you may be more about the issue and less about the nursing of your child.  Shame on you.
