I see that Biden is going to nominate a Black Woman to the Supreme Court:
1) It is about time, if not long overdue.
2) I cannot help but be bothered by the fact that gender AND race will supercede real qualifications once again as there is no false attempt at saying the nominee is going to be the most qualified. It isn’t even part of the selection process, nor the conversation. At least there is no hypocrisy in chosing this candidate. More’s the pity.
Hopefully we do not get another ideologue like we have been getting lately. We need jurists not political puppets without any damned ability.
We do not need another Clarence Thomas who votes Conservative, sleeps on the bench, and collects his paycheck without knowing what is going on around him. Even if it is a Liberal puppet.
We should be beyond political correctness and start choosing the BEST. But that isn’t going to happen very soon. Is it Kamela.
