I am not whining, I am not complaining. I am facing rrality.
I am so old and alone that at some point in the near future I will have to subscribe to a health related security service. Not because of “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up.”. Although that is a real possibility, the main reason to have this service is for them to contact authorities if my body doesn’t move for 24 hours or so.
Otherwise, there wouldn’t be any way for anyone to know I was gone.
Sad but true.
