Oh No – Oprah!

I have been hearing rumblings in the last few days that Oprah Winfrey is seriously considering running for President in 2020.  Well goody, goody.  Unless I have missed something in the last few years, she is not qualified in any way, shape, or form to be President.  That is except for fame/notoriety, name recognition, and fortune.  We have a President now that won on those qualities and we have seen just how well that has worked out, haven’t we.

When he was still just “The Donald”, I was adamantly against him on the grounds that he was not qualified to be President.  The fact that be was also a racist misogynistic xenophobic just solidified it.  And now that he is President we have seen that he is bat-shit crazy to boot.

But we cannot forget the original contention that he should not, in any way, have been a serious contender for the Presidency based on the fact that he had zero qualifications.

The lack of qualifications are also in effect for Oprah Winfrey.  Simply put, she has no qualifications to be President and I would be a stark raving hypocrite to endorse her campaign based upon her background after exhorting against Trump’s lack of qualifications.  And, I am not a hypocrite.

Therefore,

I will not now nor will I ever endorse of vote for Oprah Winfrey for President

The only exception will be if she is running against Trump in the general election – then I will support her – and may God have mercy upon us!
