I wonder when the true Conservatives are going to break away from the Tea Party/Trump lying hate-mongers that have made the Republican Party a laughingstock to everyone but them and have marginalized their honest realistic conservative message.
I hope it happens sooner rather than later and I hope it is not a default decision after years and years of having to put up with the Trump Insurrectionists.
If you think I want to split the Republican Party to further marginalize them, that is not the case. Although a thinking Liberal, thus not likely to support most Conservative agendas, I also think that the opposing point of view, if reasonable, makes both sides better and creates better living conditions for all. As far as marginalization, the current Republican Party is doing a fine job of marginalizing themselves without any help from me. Thus, the reasonable portions of the Republican Party, which I hope is the majority of Republicans, must break away now.
As a snide aside: I have NO suggestion for the new party name except maybe The Conservative Party, but as a slap to the asshole ruining the Republican Party might I suggest their mascot be a Rhino?
