I am a food show junkie. I was watching one where a chef was talking about his greatest restaurant meal.
Got me thinking: mine was at the Trellis in Williamsburg Virginia (now defunct). Great food and I don’t remember what I had. At the time is was one of the top destination restaurants in that part of the country.
What I remember, and why it was my greatest meal, was that Sandy made the reservation months and months in advance as part of her surprise vacation for us to Washington, D.C.
So, I remember the absolute joy on her face that she gave me the gift of that vacation and that dinner.
My greatest meal!
