Multi-tasking

I have observed people with the cell phones:

  • Walk down the street.
  • Driving.
  • Steering their shopping carts.
  • In a checkout line.
  • Taking care of children.
  • Interacting with another person face-to-face.
  • Listening to TV/Radio.

I have come to an obvious conclusion.  Despite what these people may think and despite what they may tell you.  They cannot multi-task.

In fact, the cell phone proves that they cannot do two things at once, let alone more than two things at once.  And the worse part of the situation is when faced with this reality, they usually chose to worse task (the cell phone) to focus on.

And the saddest part is that they are convinced that they can multi-task right up to the point that they hurt someone.
