In February of 2007, I wrote your office stating that, now that the Democrats had the majority in the United States Congress, it was time for him to join with the rest of the Democrats in impeaching George W. Bush. The grounds were, to me, simple and sound. Specifically his actions in usurping the legislative branch of the United States in use of his “signings statements”.
The response that I got from your office, using your name, was that as there was only two more years of George W. Bush’s administration, it was not prudent to press such charges against him. I am fully aware that this was most likely a packaged answer from your staff and you did not have any direct input in this.
However, I admit I became somewhat unglued. I could not then, nor now, understand how you could refuse to exercise your duties as a sworn defender of the Constitution for the expediency of time. I responded to your office’s email accordingly.
Since then I have withheld the only thing of value that I can give you, my vote. You run, for all practical purposes, unopposed in both the primary and general elections. Therefore, from your prospective, it is a hollow threat. From my prospective, it is extremely valuable, even if it is worthless to you.
Well, I am going to give you one more chance. I will vote for you this fall. I want there to be no question as to the consensus of America’s will when it comes to our feeling about Donald Trump and his Legions. Now, I have the same request as I had those 11 odd years ago, except this time there is more at stake. Impeach him.
I conceive other website owners should take this site as an model, very clean and superb user genial layout.
