Give me a break. There is a show called “Momma June: From Not to Hot” which is a spinoff of “Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo”. It is somewhat of a hit as it has been announced that it going into its fourth season. The nexus of the storyline is that “Momma June”, the mother of a cutesy pie, overweight little baby beauty queen lost a ton (almost literally) and they are showing her wonderful adventures.
On the surface, I guess I am OK with this but this woman should not be on TV, pure and simple. Hell, they should have pulled the Honey Boo-Boo show years ago. Why? Because Momma June was hooking up with a damned ass pedophile who was hanging around not only Momma but her precious children. Explain that media whores.
To top it off, after season 3 wrapped up Momma June and her boyfriend were arrested for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia (reportedly crack cocaine, crack pipe(s), and hypodermic needles). On top of it her boyfriend was charged with domestic violence.
That didn’t stop them from green lighting the next season. Ratings, don’t you know. Make you wonder if saying the N-word was really Paula Deen’s downfall or if it was a way to get out of a contract when the ratings were falling. Hmmmmmm?
This is a good tip particularly to those fresh to the blogosphere.
