On the day I asked Sandy to marry me she surprised me by giving me a card with a little statue of a knight in shining armor. She said that hat this was how she thought of me, and this was before I asked her to marry me.
I have looked and looked for that little knight and have never found it. I probably never will.
I do know I tried with all of my heart to be her knight in shining armor. I know I failed, but not for lack of trying.
if anyone EVER, EVER thinks you are their knight in shining armor: 1) try to live up to it and 2) appreciate the love and trust that has been given to you. You will NEVER live up to the task but you must try!
