Had a new cell phone shipped via USPS from Portland to Gresham – Distance @ 15 miles – took over 4 days – oh, it took a side trip to Columbia, SC. I had tracking on the shipment because it was such a big-ticket item and I saw its journey as it went cross-country and back. Even when the oops was obviously discovered, it took 36 hours to send it back to Portland from South Carolina.
I had another box shipped at the same time from same place, same size, same labeling, lower priced – got here in less than 24 hours.\
Once again the USPS lives down to their reputation. I contacted the Portland Postmaster. So far, nothing. Maybe I will get a response but I am not planning my life around it.
