Disconcerting

After everything that has occurred Little Boots seems to hover around 38-42% approval rating, depending on who you look at.

It does not seem to get much lower.  His contention that he could shot someone on Times Square and get away with it seems to be true.

For the longest time I though if people could inform these people with exactly what he was doing they would wake up and reject his crap.  That is not true.  The information it out there.  Even conservative pundits and news agencies have started telling their followers.  It has not changed the core number of people who approve Little Boots.

That is troubling on so many levels.  At first, I was concerned that this means this represents the percentage of people who agree with the POS’s point of view.  Fortunately, on hearing them talk, that does not seem to be the issue.  It is more that Little Boots represents the Republican/Conservative Party and, ipso facto, represents GOOD.

That seems to be why the number is so high.  And that is why there is no major movement on these numbers.  Unless their leadership Stands Tall and abandons Little Boots it will not change.  So far, the Republican Part has been remiss in doing this.  They have been more interested in using him as the lightning rod for all of the negative press as they accomplish a lot of things that are unpopular to the majority of the population.  Sadly, they have been successful so far.

That is the observation.  But that is not the disconcerting aspect.  What is disconcerting is that this is a two-way street.  As non-conservatives, Liberals if you must, we must be very careful in not EVER EVER EVER choosing a POS like Little Boots for our party.  Do not be so arrogant in thinking is cannot happen.  Who would have thought that Little Boots could have been elected?  The reason we much be careful is that we may see a large percentage, maybe a 38-42% or even more, of people who blindly follow a POS just because the POS is a member of their party.

America screwed up.  We are not going to get many do-overs on a mistake of this magnitude.
