I had a conversation with someone who proclaimed to be a Devil Worshiper. It was an incredulous conversation. Talk about a conversation!
She informed me that the reason she worshiped the Devil was because she did not believe in God. When I informed her that without God, there would be no Devil she had a little difficulty in carrying on the rest of the conversation.
Then I informed her that the whole concept of the Devil required an absolute belief in God and that, while the worship of the Devil was not unique, it had to accept that God existed. It also had to accept that God won the battle for Heaven and that the Devil was the loser.
In short, she was worshipping the loser. Because the Devil lost and went to the Dark Side. So, while I did not support her worship of the Devil, I suspected that she did not either. Why? Because she did not even take enough time to figure out what she was worshipping. I suggested she become a Wiccan because they made no bones about the fact that they existed by making shit up.
The very root of your writing whilst sounding reasonable in the beginning, did not work properly with me after some time. Someplace throughout the paragraphs you managed to make me a believer unfortunately only for a very short while. I still have got a problem with your leaps in logic and one might do well to help fill in all those breaks. If you can accomplish that, I will definitely be fascinated.
