Blame Ourselves

I know you have not been waiting with bated breath (not to be confused with baited breath) for my next harangue on Little Boots.  It there is some, I know this includes numbers too few to bother counting.  After all, my ego does not require self-aggrandizing like that POS in the White House.

I have been reluctant to say a whole lot more about him.  It seems that a whole cottage industry has been created regarding who can find the most disgusting, albeit true, tidbit to talk about him today trying to one-up the crap he did or said the day before.  At some point, it became an exercise in futility.

If there was ever a real, valid reason to use the Articles of Impeachment in the United States Constitution this is it.  In only one other instance in United States History has such a situation occurred and the President resigned because HE WAS GOING TO BE IMPEACHED AND REMOVED FROM OFFICE.  It was not a question of if; it was a question of how fast it was going to happen.  Truth be told; Nixon’s criminal actions and sanity, while extreme and beyond any acceptable level, were insignificant compare to this Piece of Crap.  This POS should have already been removed from office in a bi-partisan vote and it probably should have happened before he served his first year.  The fact that is did not is a failing of our process.  Politics as normal.

I know that the Republicans have to give lip-service support to “their” President but should they?  If, as all politicians state, they are representing the people why are they still supporting a person we suspect is insane, know is a misogynist, know is xenophobic, know is a racist, have real firm belief that he has committed illegal acts and/or allowed illegal acts to be committed in his name, and by now know is downright stupid.  The only reason is that supporting his furthers their political agenda.  Once again, the hell with the people of the country as long as it feathers their nest.

Does that matter to the Democrats?  It does not seem so.  They seem to use his failing as nothing more than campaign talking points.  It seems that they are using the promise/threat of impeachment merely as a method to garner press time and to raise money for the next damned election cycle.  In addition, I do not see a single so-called candidate making this a key part of his/her campaign. 

In short, the Democrats are using a weak President as a tool to further their political agenda.  They are peeing on the people once again in their effort get elected or re-elected.  If you do not believe me, look at all of the candidates running for President.  To say they are qualified is a technicality in that they are over 35 years of age and natural-born citizens of America.  Otherwise, I am equally qualified to be President.  And, I am smart enough to know I am not qualified, regardless of my ego.

So you see; why continue to bellyache about Little Boots.  The Republicans politicians will support him; the Democratic politicians will use him for campaign sound bites; the conservative-minded voters will reinvent their truth (with a little help from FOX, Rush, Hannity, et.al.); the liberal-minded voters will reinvent their truth as well.  My only hope is along the way the liberals do not get stupid once again and choose a candidate that the middle of the road voters cannot support.  If they stay home, vote a third-party, or (heaven-forbid) vote Little Boots we have him for a second term and we have ourselves to blame.
