I understand that those ubiquitous Baby on Board signs and their progeny (I recently saw a Little Person on Board sticker) was to let other drivers know that there were wee ones in the vehicle in the hopes that the other driver to drive more safely.
Are those people really that naive? I mean really. If the damn fool driver was driving recklessly can anyone really expect them to say to themselves “uh oh, that car has a baby on board. I had better slow down and drive safer.”
Therefore when I see a Baby on Board sign my first thought is And Idiot Behind Wheel!
