An Observation

Just an observation:

I am always intrigued how people, generally conservatives, shout from the treetops about just how patriotic they are.

These are the people who wear American Flags, have Flags waving from their pike-em-up trucks, and from flagpoles.  These are the people who are card-carrying members of the NRA, hate the ACLU, hate Liberals, and anyone who disagrees with them. They espouse religious beliefs but do not like anyone who doesn’t go to the right church, not that you are likely to see them in church anytime soon either.

They are against the freedom of choice because someone said it was murder of a fetus but they have no problem with the idea of public executions if it were allowed.  They believe in family values but cheat on their spouses just as often as anyone else.

They do not really believe in freedom of religion, press, speech, or any other damned thing unless it is their religion, press, or speech.

In general, they seem to hate more than they like.  And they call themselves American and do not think anyone else deserves that designation.

In my opinion, they are the ones who should be suspect.
