Now that “America’s Got Talent” is winding down, I am surprised that there is such a limited number of stars that there truly were discovered with the show. Given the number of people who were showcased by the show over the years, it is surprising that there were so few real successes. Now I know about the great stars that broke out from the show, but did the show discover them or were they just a good showcase. Let us face it, for the most part the winners and near-winners have been, for the most part, not all that much.
In reality, the successes did not need this show to showcase them, the show needed them to show needed the successful talent the justify the shows existence. And this may be the real reason the show is in its last season.
