A Prospective

I, like many other like-minded people, have been railing against the obvious insanity and meanness of Little Boots. I cannot imagine how people are still supporting this man when he is obviously without his faculties. And I, like so many others, have constantly brought out examples that prove that he is not completely cognizant of the world around him, and that he is mean-spirited as well.

Combined with this has been the disgust with the ongoing examples, seemingly on a daily basis, of his individual actions and the actions of his minions that are immoral and illegal. Even the most corrupt administrations prior to this pale in comparison to the charges, accusations, and actual convictions that have been visited on this administration. And we are only into it for 2 years.

Part of my railing was a not-so-subtle attempt to get the word out to try to convince his supporters to what he was. Then I realized in really is futile. Those that continue to support his administration, whether at the government or the individual level, simply do not care what type of person he is or what kind of administration he is running.

Oh, yes. Some pundits, politician, and people have objected and left the Republican Party and no longer support it. However, Little Boots still garners a level of support that is surprisingly high on the surface.

There are some that do not believe any of the nasty, bad things said about him, but that has to be a small minority of his supporters by now. Let’s face it, the evidence is there. Generally speaking, it is undeniable and even the most naïve amongst his supporters have to be aware of the charges by now. And, if they have a modicum of intelligence, they are aware of the veracity of the claims.

However, as I said above, they do not care. He is championing the issues they agree with. Less government regulations, reduced oversight, gutting Obamacare, the “WALL”, what have you. We can argue (and argue and argue) the merits of these issues but his core supporters like his stance. Thus they will support him even if he foams at the mouth in the Oval Office and pisses on the carpet. Truth be said; they want their agenda addressed and they will deal with the devil (or in this case, Little Boots) to get it.

Compound this with the fact that if the Democratic Party does not get stupid and chooses a candidate that is palatable to the fence sitters, they only have 2 more years to get their way.

This does not mean I will stop tilting against the windmill that is Little Boots. It just means I will no longer expect to convert anyone.
